Hi, Im Ms. Jessica

I have over 20 years of experience teaching young children. I studied Child Development at Grand Rapids Community College and the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I lived in Alaska for 22 years, where I homeschooled my four children. They're all grown now, and I recently became a grandma for the first time. 😁

I have a passion for helping young children learn, and I love to incorporate art, music, and nature-based science.

I provide full-day, year-round childcare with a Montessori-influenced, exploration-based approach. My preschool program (ages 2-5*) balances structure with creative freedom. Children build real skills in reading, writing, and math, along with manners and independence, all through joyful, hands-on play.

I enroll only six children at a time, so each child gets more focused attention.

I treat all the children in my care like family. We just completed another successful year of learning together.

Ms. Jessica is such a treasure. Our son has been under her care since he was 8 months old (he's now 4), and he's thrived under her love and guidance ever since.

She balances structure with creative freedom through a play-led, Montessori-influenced approach, and has taught him manners, reading, writing, cooking, crafts, sports, and bathroom independence. She also partners closely with us as parents, reinforcing what we're working on at home in the classroom, and sending daily updates and pictures so we always feel connected to his day.

Watching him grow into a confident, curious 4-year-old has been such a gift, and so much of that is thanks to her patience and genuine care. We can't recommend her enough!
